Windsor serves as a bedroom community for the Upper Valley and Claremont NH areas. With a large employment base in both areas and a short 20 minute at the longest drive to work all on interstate hwy., with little or no traffic,Windsor offers rural lifestyle with little or no crime. It sits on the banks of the Connecticut River, just a short drive from Woodstock, VT and Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. We're also centrally located to many attractions, including Quechee Gorge, Okemo Ski Resort, Ascutney Mountain, and Lake Runnemede.

Windsor is home to Harpoon Brewery and hosts 2 events that draw thousands to the Town, July 23 and 24 for the The Harpoon Championships of New England Barbecue and The Harpoon Brewery's famous Octoberfest, October 9 and 10.

Windsor is 20 minutes from Lebanon Airport and just over an hour to Burlington or Manchester Airports, making windsor easy on travelers or vacationers.

 


About the Upper Valley
The Upper Valley also known as the Dartmouth Lake Sunapee Region is one of the best places to live in New England. To Prove it CNN money and Money Magazine has rated Hanover NH #2 best places to live in the US for 2007 .Unemployment is always well below the national average. The area offers all the benefits of a Metropolitan community with rural living. All local industry is either high tech, medical, education or services.
